El Dia De La Labrador

Labor day weekend was gobs of great fun. Melinda was kind enough to stop by, which provided me an excuse to go and explore a bit more around metro Atlanta. We also went to Stone Mountain (better known as the confederate Mt. Rushmore), where we went hiking and had a picnic atop the granite mountain. Its actually quite nice there and there's plenty of places to go biking, running, etc. So I think I'll be visiting it more often (once it's not so hot).

The kitties were also happy to see Melinda and weren't skittish like they normally are with visitors. Which means cats have some form of long term memory. My next experiment will be to see if they are capable of fashioning tools from crude instruments left around the apartment. Perhaps in time they might be able to create something useful.
